Who writes these briefs?
Brief authors are entrepreneurs who believe there's an opportunity but might not have the time or ability to work on the idea themselves.
Why would I trust these authors?
Like anything on the internet, you don't have to. This site exists for entrepreneurs who haven't found that idea yet and/or who would want an experienced advisor from day one to help them build their company.
Do I have to invite the author to be an advisor?
No, of course not but consider how much time they put into the brief and how much they might be able to help along the way. Being a founder is a lonely road - wouldn't you like to start off with someone who knows the idea well?
How much equity should I give an author?
10-20% is an initial suggestion, although that may vary based on the time commitment the advisor is making or other factors. The equity should vest over time (4 yrs, 1 yr cliff)
Is this free?
Yes, for now. We might charge a membership fee for both authors and/or founders at some point.
